I started setting routes in the same year I began climbing, when I was 22, and I haven't stopped since.
In the lower grades, I enjoy creating visually striking, playful, and flowing boulders. After all, climbing is a game, right? In the higher grades, while I personally like to I like to campus on pockets and monos, I prefer to set complex moves over just straight-up hard pulling, ideally incorporating visual eye-catchers as well.
